Color Space conversions


ICE Live permits on the fly color up, down and cross conversions of color space.

Enable the Color conversion mode

To enable the Color Conversion, ICE Live's CMS (Color Management System) must be changed from NATIVE to MT CMS.

In the  Live page, choose CMS > System : MTCMS


 

Select the new color Space


Then, select the new color space under WORKFLOW:




Warning
Some HDR input signal do not carry the Mastering Display metadata, making it impossible to automatically downconvert from HDR10 to SDR. In those cases, the Mastering display should be manually set in the DISPLAY menu.

Mastering Display

When the Mastering Display metadata are present in the signal, the details are shown in the menu DISPLAY.
When this information is not present, the Preset is set to custom and values show 0.



To Manually change the Mastering Display, select one from PRESET dropdown list:





Once the conversion is performed, all the video scopes automatically reflect the changes.
